ANTHROPOSOHIC
SCHOOL
VALORIZATION OF THERAPEUTIC VIRTUES OF COPPER
The therapeutical virtues of metals have been well know for centuries.
They've started to be used in the modern natural medicine thanks to the anthroposophic
school founded by R. Steiner and with I. Wegman direct application to clinical practice.
In the anthroposophic culture, the characteristics of electrical and
warm conductivity of the metals, the catalytic power and the capacity to irradiate
specific "high level" powers (named "etheric forces" connected to the
planetary system and the base of exhibition of life) are very important. Particularly
copper is used as mediator of light, warm and forces connected with the planet Venus, or
with the Greek God with the same name as well as with trees such as birch or plants such
as equisetum, shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris) and so on.
Copper has a particular affinity with kidneys and, more generally, with
the balance of the bloodstream system. Its main characteristic is to act as taker
(supplier)-balancer of the body warm and to neutralize the electric charges present in our
environment, overloaded with electromagnetic waves and fields.
It is perfect to unload the accumulated tension and to stimulate the
circulation of organic liquids, thus reducing the sense of heaviness of the legs, warming
and restoring motility to hands and feet (or vice versa refreshing hands and feet in case
of excessive summer perspiration) and even reducing joint pains when applied in the
correct way.
